Jean's Story
Life
I am now living in Sarasota, Florida with my husband, Frank, 2 cats and a bird. We love it down here but are so glad the last hurricane passed us by. Last year the storms were devestating but we had no damage. We moved from a large house last year into a 3 bedroom villa and are enjoying it and our new neighbors who are party people.
Our children are scattered around the country, 1 in CT, 1 in CA, 1 in WA and 1 in OR. They visit when they can but our traveling days seem to be over as we are becoming more content to stay right in our own home. Years ago we did a lot of travelin...Expand for more
g to Europe, Africa and a memorable trip through the Panama Canal. Have done our share of the US and have decided that we have seen what interested us the most and time to stop.
My husband plays golf (who doesn't in FL) and I entertain myself with crafts and knitting for our 5 year old grandson who loves sweaters. Last year we became great-grandparents when our 24 year old granddaughter and husband had a little boy. We also have a 21 year old grandson in Utah studying become a history teacher.
All in all life down here is very good and we are enjoying it.
